- Chicken (writingfreak) -
A chicken ran in front of me, clucking as it went. I had a sudden urge to kick it, which I immediately, and almost regretfully, squashed. - Longbows or Crossbows (writingfreak) -“Oh, look, longbows,” I said as we passed a small wooden-weapons shop.
“Crossbows are better,” my travelling companion said as we came to a small shop that had shoddy, but period appropriate dresses on the side of it. - Oracle (Sushi) -
“Oracles don’t accept money,” a small, frail-looking, old woman said with a thick, vaguely English accent, pushing some fabric that was hanging in front of the door out of her way. - Transportation Problems (Nancy) -
I began to panic as I felt Mason’s hand slip away from me. Suddenly the electricity stopped and the humming turned into a loud buzz. Looking around me, I could only see blue, but not the same blue I usually saw while travelling through the portal. Instead, this was more of a midnight blue, and it frightened me. I felt like I couldn't catch my breath, and, when the portal spit me out, I began to hyperventilate.
